Mission:
Our mission is to reduce gun
and gang related violence by encouragement,
education, engagement, and enforcement throughout
the Southern District of Indiana beginning in Marion
County.
Indiana Project Safe
Neighborhoods plans to reduce gun violence
by:

Creating and maintaining public awareness
about gun crime in Marion County
•
Encouraging the public to confidentially call
law enforcement officials to report illegal gun
possession and gun crime
•
Providing exceptional anti-gun crime programs
aimed at youth, especially those at risk of
committing gun crimes
•
Educating ex-felons about stronger federal
gun laws
•
Providing additional dollars to law
enforcement agencies for proven anti-gun crime
initiatives such as targeted patrols and
neighborhood sweeps
